Intimate Spaces for Baby Showers
Our baby shower venue suits celebrations of all sizes. The Bistro is the most intimate option. It seats up to 32 guests or 30 canapé style, making it ideal for a long lunch or brunch. The Bar suits smaller gatherings with up to 20 seated or 30 canapé guests. Italian Sharing Food and Grazing Boards
Food is one of the main reasons people choose our venue for a baby shower in Melbourne. Our modern Italian menu is designed for sharing. Canapé packages start from $45 pp, with a premium option available from $58 pp. For something more substantial, there’s also the $65 pp Feed Me menu. Grazing boards are popular for daytime celebrations too, with options ranging from a Half Grazer at $490 through to a Full Grazer at $950. These feature cured meats, farmhouse cheeses, fresh fruit, house-made bread and dips, plus lavosh and crackers. We can also cater for dietary requirements with notice.
Drinks for Mum-to-Be and Guests
Our drinks menu has something for everyone. Guests can enjoy Bodriggy beers on tap, cocktails and wines, while the mum-to-be can choose from a range of non-alcoholic spritzers, mocktails and soft drinks. Beverage packages start from $75 pp for 2 hours or $85 pp for 3 hours. You can also opt for a bar tab or just order as you go.
Easy Baby Shower Planning
Planning a baby shower at our Melbourne venue is simple. Our function manager can help with everything from tailoring drinks packages to event timing. Food selections are finalised 7 days before the event and a 50% deposit secures your booking. If you’re bringing your own cake, there’s a small cakeage fee of $1 per person, capped at $20. Dr Morse is located at 274 Johnston Street in Abbotsford, directly underneath Victoria Park Station and around 15 minutes from Flinders Street by train. If you drive, there’s 4-hour free parking on Lulie Street. It’s easy to get here from Collingwood, Fitzroy and the CBD, which makes things straightforward for guests.
