Two Ways to Host Your Wedding Reception
We offer two ways to celebrate:
Beer garden hire:
Ideal for cocktail style receptions between 20 and 140 guests. You’ll have access to the lush outdoor setting, covered seating, brick fireplace and disco ball overhead, while the rest of the venue continues as normal.
Full venue hire:
Best if you want the Bistro, Bar and Beer Garden all to yourselves. This option suits up to 140 cocktail style guests. Please note that whole venue hire isn’t available on Friday or Saturday evenings from 6pm.
Small Wedding Reception Venues for Intimate Celebrations
Not every couple wants a ballroom packed with hundreds of people. If you’re after a small wedding reception venue in Melbourne, Dr Morse provides something far more personal. The layout gives people room to chat and celebrate, while keeping everyone tied into the same atmosphere. Even with up to 140 cocktail guests, it still holds onto that warm, intimate feel.
Italian Sharing Food, Bodriggy Beers and Cocktails
One thing that gives Dr Morse the edge over other wedding reception venues is the food and drink. The menu features modern Italian dishes designed for sharing. On the drinks side, you’ll find fresh Bodriggy beers poured on tap like Utropia Pale Ale and Bodriggy Lager, as well as cocktails and wine.
Food packages start from $45pp for canapés, with a premium option at $58pp, while the $65pp Feed Me menu suits couples after something more substantial.
